I always like to see a standing side view but this dog does appear to be mostly pit bull and, depending on his size, maybe a terrier mix thrown in. That's just my guess.

I had never known what an American Staffordshire had looked like until you mentioned that and I googled it. I might agree with you on that one, she looks very similar to that type of dog. But the whole "lock jaw" you speak of is somewhat true. We have these 2 interlocked rubber rings that our dogs play with, and when she gets a hold of one of them I can literally pull the rings up past my head and she will still be holding on while she is dangling.
As for the separation anxiety history, her mother was from a rescue society and she had the pups while there. She has always felt love and she has no problem going outside by herself. She just can't stand being left in the house alone. It continually gets better with time though. Thanks for your input.

Just so you know, many breeds will hang on to a toy as you described. I've seen German Shepherds and Australian Shepherds do it and I even had a Fox Terrier/Spitz cross who did that.

This may sound crazy but he has a stance similar to that of a Cocker Spaniel. And when I go back and look at the face pics, I think I may see Cocker around his forehead and eyes too. Another possibility may be Sharpei. What do you think?

Anyone can give their opinion just by looking but DNA testing is the only way to know for sure. See my article at the link below.

Can someone help me finding what breed/mix my dog was ?

She was small size (5-7 Kg) like a huge cat, short hair, pointy nose, very long legs.

More pics here : http://www.bestof.gr/mpoympoy/

Thanks in advance

Nice pictures. This is an adorable dog. She has a collie look to her but that's a larger breed. Although I don't know your dog's height, I would guess maybe Saluki/Border Collie.
