I just got two puppies from a girlfriend and my male looks just like yours his name is Leroy he is sheperd/chow mix? So'Im told.All males took after mom and girls took after dad.My boy had rottweiler marks too but' if you think about it so do sheperds. he has smooth coat and curled tail. my girl is tan and brown and curled tail.Your dogs sooo cute! mine just turned 10 weeks yesterday? My vet said deffinetly chow mix. Hope it helps.Good luck and enjoy your beautiful puppy.

I've always wondered what breed my dog was. When I take him to the vet or to get groomed, they just label him as a poodle. However, I don't think he is much of a poodle. Maybe some sort of water spaniel mix? I really have no idea. He is a light brown, around 20 lbs, curly coat, and short tail. Thanks! happy

Awwww, what a cutie and certainly not shy of posing for the camera! Well I'm inclined to agree with both the vet and the groomer...looks like a poodle to me. However that doesn't mean there isn't water spaniel in there.

So, I got my dog from the SPCA. And well they told me she was a mix of something and then this lady that has had many and I mean MANY dogs tells me my baby girl is well something else. (I dont want to say what those things are because I want to see what people have to say). So can someone PLEEEEASE help me and tell me or give me your input as to what do you think my dog can be? And do you believe she is mixed?

Everyone who reads this will think I just think all dogs are gorgeous and you know what? They'd be right, but your girl is really gorgeous. I am rather partial to the mastiff/bully breeds and this is no exception. She looks to be like a cross between a pitbull and a boxer to me. Is this what you were told??? Hopefully you'll allow her to be a featured guest on my dog's blog, Bark 'N' Blog also.

Thats what I thought too. She has those sweet intelligent eyes my Zoe has. Long lets and body type led me to think boxer mix.

She is soo gorgeous and I bet a sweety.

Hmmm ... See, I was told by a friend who breeds dogs that she is full pitbull ... but the funny thing is .. when we got her from the SPCA we were told she was boxer and german shepherd .. but hmmm maybe she is boxer and pitbull .. I know for a fact she has some pitbull in her, I dont think german shepherd. Hmm.. so not a full pit, huh? Well, I still love her and oh yea she is a handful but a sweetie!! happy

So glad to see this board! My dog is 13 yrs old and I have never had a clue what his breed is nor has anyone else been much help. He gets TONS of compliments and people ask me what breed he is but I have no clue. I've seen his type on TV. Any help would be greatly appreciated. View here:
