Dog Smell

I have a pekingese that is about 1 1/2 years olds. I have to bathe her quite frequently.
After I bathe her within 2 days she is beginning to have that dog smell again. After 3 or 4 days she really smells bad. It's not like urine or feces. What can I do to keep her fresh longer?
