Hi Kat,
Thanks for this and I will definitely be blogging this. This Breed Specific Legislation stuff really "bites".

Today I went to have my hair done at friend who has her hair salon attached to her home. Well, she has THREE pitbulls. I was almost licked to death!

They were the sweetest dogs! This breed has truly gotten such a bad rap by uninformed, dog illiterate people. Yes dogs can bite, any breed, but the key is education not denigration. I think I'm singing to the choir here with you Kat. Thanks again I'm going to love sharing this story!

Have a tail waggin' day!

Oh for sure. Zoe loves to climb in my lap and lick my face. She looks at me with such intelligence.

I remember in the 70 when the German Shepherds were the bad guys. My grandparents had some and I thought it was rediculous.

Hi Kat,
It is ridiculous really because this is a human problem. We all need to understand the nature of a dog before bringing one home. Children need to be educated about dogs and their care and their nature. Parents need to supervise their children with dogs. Makes common sense but I fear that is a greatly missing commodity in today's society.

Kat, I just want to thank you for being such an awesome contributor to this forum, the discussions and all you do to help! I'm so grateful to you for all you do here!!!!

Have a tail waggin' day!
