» Hipstead - can anyone give a guess as to my dogs breed?

I just registered to see if anyone can help identify my dogs breed, I've had him since he was a pup but have never found out what he is.

He's got webbed toes and an epic love of water and fetch so I've always thought he had some lab in him.
Any help would be appreciated

The pic is kind of dark. Love the brindle coat. Had a great dane that color, but yours doesn't look big enough to be a dane.

Wow what an interesting looking dog. The brindle color is awesome! He has neck wrinkles like my Neopolitan Mastiff, Shadrach, and Neos come brindled but the face is so slim and narrow more like German Shepard, Doberman, etc. Could be several breeds here Hipstead, especially with webbed feet there has to be hunting water dog breed in there somewhere. Wow, I'm stumped.
