Sure. Can't imagine dogs not being around. I'm not the most knowlegeable person on breed (kind of a mutt lover), but my grandparents had two registered german shepherds they bred as well as about 10-20 dogs that were always running freely on their 40 acre farm. There is a picture in existance somewhere of me as a baby sleeping with two dogs.
