My little Chi boy is incredibly sweet, but then, I worked hard with him as a puppy to properly socialize him. He loves everyone, never yaps or nips, and is one of those dogs that people always say, "I used to hate little dogs until I met yours." Frodo is incredible - he's raced with me in 5Ks (running on his own, not carried), done 12 mile hikes and 8 mile runs, gone rock climbing (he guards my pack)and is also easily capable of sleeping all day burrowed in blankets. I'm a total fan.

I plan to always have at least one Chi.

Hey Jill. I'm so glad to hear about yet another Chi who does not deserve the rep of yappy and snappy. He sounds pretty hardy too, doing all those runs and hikes with you. The Chis I kept belong to a family with two children and they do just great. In fact, I'm missing those tiny little faces this week! They really can make great family dogs. Please give Frodo a hug from me!
