» Deke76 - potty training ain't happenin'!

We've had our Mastiff pup home for 6 days. He is no closer to being potty trained, then the day he arrived.

Dozens of times a day we carry him out to his spot, and he goes... this because we are getting better at reading when he needs to go.

If we are not constantly observing him, and scooping him up, he goes in the house. Fortunately it's only been #1 and not the scary-Mastiff-pup-#2!

Any advice appreciated. We had a St. Bernard/Mastiff mix several years ago. He was literally potty trained in about 2 days!.. no joke. Understandably you can not compare dogs... But man-o-manashevitz!..
