Hello all,
I have a question, and I need some suggestions. My puppy, Bailey, is doing great. She's learning fast. She knows how to sit, come, laydown, and she's doing pretty good at stay.
They problem is, and it's not a totally bad thing, she won't play outside, and doesn't even want to be outside unless my wife or I are out there with her. She does totally great when we're out there. She'll run, play, chew on sticks, chase birds...but once we go inside, she feels like she has to come in with us. It's not totally a bad thing, her wanting to be near us, but she won't even go out on her own just to go to teh bathroom. When we open the door to let her out, she'll get out onto the step and turn around to see if we're still following her. If she doesn't see us, she'll jump up on the door and start clawing at it pretty much until we either let her back in or go out there with her. She's pretty much destroyed one screen door already and I don't want to install another one on until we get this problem figured out.
Please help.

As for what kind of dog, we're thinking she's boxer/greyhound with maybe a little pit and lab mixed in. And her background, see the discussion "I'm just curious" I started on Jan 16. She is six months old now.

Thanks. She does fine when we're out there with her, and when we go over to another house for a "play date" she does fine outside with the other dog. But when we get back to our house it's the same thing, she won't stay outside without us. I know that if we got another dog for her to play with she/they would be fine out there, but I don't have the room for another dog, nor do I have the funds to take care of 2 dogs at the same time.
