I purchased a beauiful shih poo about 6 months ago. She is 10 months old and I am having a difficult time teching her to potty train. My husband is becoming very upset and wants to leave her outside everytime she has an accident in the house. We have have tried crating her and using the pads but she will not let us know when she needs to go. I have watched for all the signs that people say to watch for and sometimes she will display them but more often than not she doesn't. She sleeps all night without going and I take her out first thing in the mornings and immediately after eating. I take her to the same spot each time and as I am taking her there, I repeat the words go potty. SHe will do her business and once she is back in the house she goes again. What can I do differently. Please help. Thank you

You say she sleeps all night without going. Where does she sleep? Loose? In a crate?
