My best guess would be a Lhasapoo (Lhasa Apso/Poodle cross) or a Cockapoo (Cocker Spaniel/Poodle cross.)

» PTherapy09 - Help identify my pup's breed!

Hey, I have a mixed breed 5 month old pup and still am unsure of what breeds she's mixed with. The humane society at first said shepherd mix, then their vet papers I later got from them said Black and Tan Coonhound. Her colors are black and tan. But she also obviously looks very much like a Rottweiler only shorter. She has beagle-like ears and face but is really strong which seems to be a rott characteristic. I do think she is mixed w/some type of hound dog b/c she tracks out in the yard. I'm going to try to add pics once I found out how to to help anyone out in identifying Lola's breed. Thanks for any help!!

Let me add even more confusion to the pot and say that I think this little girl could have some Doberman in her. I would like to see a standing side view.

Haha, some people have told me doberman too. Sorry I don't have many good standing side views but I added a sitting side view lol. She seems a bit "too built" to be doberman--aren't those tall and lean? But I don't really know happy

You're right, Dobies are tall and lean but I think it's Dobie giving her the black and tan markings and some other breed causing her to be "built". Her little face seems leaner in the 4 month old picture than in the 3 and 1/2 month old picture so she may "skinny" up a bit as she grows. Her little face just looks Dobie to me. I actually think she shows so much Dobie that it's hard to tell what the stocky breed may be. I would be interested to see what she looks like in about 6 months.

She's 5 months now, but I'll be sure and re-post some pics when she turns 6 months. Someone told me she could have some beagle because of her triangle floppy ears and the fact that she tracts a lot. But who knows happy Thanks for your imputs!!

She could have some Miniature Pinscher (Or German Pinscher) in her. But it depends how big she gets, I suppose. =]

That min. pin is soo cute! Thanks for you inputs too! I will have to agree that she has a dobie in her, but probably 5 other type too lol. She is a bit built more so than I think full dobies get, and she has a STRONG pull when she's after something when on a leash. Another thing we recently found out, she may have a hearding breed in her too; we were running around in our backyard and when she was chasing us, she would also nip at our heels/legs and sort of tackle us to the ground. This may be just playful fun, or some type of hearding technique. But I dunno.

» terri1976 - What breed is my dog?

Hello everyone,

I recently adopted a dog, and I am not sure what breed she is. I adopted her from a woman, who took her in from a family who no longer wanted her. They said that she was a Rat Terrier, but I do not think this is the case.

At first, I thought she was a mixed breed, until I was at the store buying a flea collar. Cookie, my dog, was on the cover of the collar. So now I am thinking that she is not a mixed breed, because I don't think they'd put mixed breeds on the covers of the collars. Though I could be wrong.

Cookie is about 18 inches tall, and she weighs about 20, to 25 pounds.

Her coat is soft. Her body is white, but it has black patches on it that almost look faded. They are small for the most part, except she has one on each side of her bottom that are about the size of my hand. Also, her bottom and her face are all black.
Her tail has been docked, but in this photo the dog's tail is about 10, to 12 inches long.

If anyone has any ideas as to what type of dog Cookie is, I'd really appreciate a response. I am sorry, but I am unable to add a photo right now.
I don't have one to upload, but I don't know how to do it either.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I look forward to hearing from you.
