» Mawshy - Does anyone know...

Hey there. Now I'm not sure if my dog is a cross breed or a full breed Pitbull. We got her from a rehoming centre and they said she'd been found and taken in anonymously. I think if she isnt a pit she's a cross between a Boxer and a German Shepherd.

She's 7 months old right now. 20 inches tall and weighs about 47 lbs. When she puts her tail up it goes very curly like a Shar-pei's. And pitt's dont have that right?

Pit bulls don't have tightly curled tails but Sharpeis do. That, and the wide muzzle, still makes me think the prevalent breed is Sharpei. She still looks to me like she could have some pit bull with the Sharpei, and maybe even traces of a few other breeds to create her unique look. Hope you're having a nice holiday.

Wow. Camber really looks like her. The ears the white chest and the white tip on his tail is just like hers. But when I looked at some more pics of Blackmouth Curs they had floppy ears like Labs. I've seen some Shepherd mixes with curly tails...but I'm sure they didnt have any SharPei in them. I'm having a great holiday, hope you are too. xx

Most northern breeds have a curly tail too. Shepherds are sometimes crossed with Huskys, Malamutes or other northern breeds.
