A couple of weeks before Christmas last year someone dropped off 2 puppies at our home, a male and a female. Well, September 21, 2007, they had 6 puppies! The vet said the dad looked like an Australian Cattle Dog, someone else said a Blue Heeler, I don't know! I have given one away, as I am not able to keep them all. They are listed on Petfinders.com. I love them all, and I'd sure like to know just what they are, and what to expect! Anyone have suggestions?

Australian Cattle Dogs and Blue Heelers are basically the same thing.

If you ask your veterinarian, there may be a shelter or some other organization near you that will spay/neuter these dogs at no or low cost so that you will not be faced with trying to find homes again for puppies. It's so sad for all the homeless dogs out there, that there are not enough homes for everyone.
