This puppy resembles a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. But you're right, purebred is just a word. Love from a purebred could be no sweeter than love from this little guy.

I have a questin about the puuppy I just got. I found him in the paper, he was advertised as a puggle. when we went to see him he looked nothing likd a puggle. He is tiny, but he has very pointy ears ad a thin face. He looks like a chauawa. I bought him anyway because he was so cute and affectionate. they gave me all his vet papers about his shots and eveythin, they say he is a puggle. there is no way! I'm just afraid they gave me some papers from another dog. he goes to the ve monday, but I was just curious what everyone though. I'm just leary because i just bought him from the paper! his pic is on my profile! thanks.

I didn't see a picture on your profile. Puggle is not a true breed and not all Puggles will look alike. Were the parents not available for you to see? It is possible the paperwork was mixed up.

» pronetoidiocy - what is his breed?

Hi, I recently got my dog Emmett from the pound. We have no idea what type of dog he is, although he is definitely mixed. any help I can recieve on this would be wonderful.

He is very active, very protective of the two occupants of my house, and very alert. He loves to play, but is only agressive when we play, never towards strangers or when we aren't playing.

Any ideas?

29 lbs is smaller than I thought he was. Although some Chows are fairly small, there may be other breeds mixed in.

I think he's a terrier mix. Maybe Jack Rusell.

Jack Russell? Hmmm,personally I don't see that. He seems to have the boxy face of a Chow, mixed with maybe some kind of smaller terrier.
