» Tip2TheT - What is my australian shepherd mixed with?

I just got this little one 2 weeks ago. She was givin to me and I thought she was full blood. I never saw a picture of her until the lady brought her to me. She is nothing like I thought! I know she's a blue merle aussie, but what the heck is she mixed with?! lol. Her hair is a lot shorter than full blood, her ears stick straight up and then flop. She's incredibly smart like the aussie's and her fur is just pure silk. Can you help me figure this out? Thanks so much in advance! happy Here are some links to her pictures.

She's a cute little thing....maybe she's some kind of Aussie/Border Collie/Heeler mix.

» Tip2TheT - Stop puppy from walking in front of me

Okay, I can't find this topic anywhere so hopefully I can maybe get an answer on this one. happy
You know how puppies walk right in front of you wherever you go and you just can't help but to trample all over them? (even off leash) Well that's my problem with my 5 mth old. I just ruined a newly baked cake from her being all up in my way. I'm trying to get passed her and of course, I accidently step on her paw. So there went the cake flying across the kitchen. :/ How do you stop them from doing that? Please help!

EWWW, smushed cake and almost broken toes...not good at all! Hopefully this little incident (and maybe a few more) will make her want to avoid another one and she will watch where she's going. Sometimes you just have to bite your tongue and remember they're only babies and will eventually learn.

I think it looks more like an Australian Cattle dog than a Shepherd. Just a guess though.

» Sabra89 - Can you figure it out?!?

My Husband and I have different opinions on what our 8 month old puppy might be. I think Australian Shepherd mix he thinks some kind of Heeler mix. The previous owners think he might be an Aussie but a shelter worker saw a picture and said Heeler. It's just kinda buggin me because when people comment on him and ask what kind of dog it is we go into the long sch vile about how he might be either. Thanks for any help!!

» rugersmom - boxer and ???

I rescued a now 8 week old pup from someone who adopted him 2 weeks ago and then decided they couldn't keep him. They told me he was a purebred boxer, my vet thinks he's mostly boxer, but a mix of something due to the longer snout than a boxer normally has and his fur is a little longer than most boxers. If anyone has any ideas what they think he is mixed with, I would love to hear! Thanks!
