Well, when she was smaller and we first got her my husband said chow as well, I think mainly because her hair was very fluffy at the time. Now that she's older her hair is long, but not very fluffy. She has a long tail as well that mainly stays curled at the tip. My 3 yr. old says it looks like a candy-cane! She has brennel coloring. She has a long nose with a little bit of a hump that is starting to show ( which I thought German Shepherds had ). She has always had very large feet and her legs are thick all the way down.
As far as behavior, she likes to nip and bite alot. It is hard to really play with her or rub her head if she is alert because she wants to grab your hand. I believe she is playing, but being a big dog..it hurts! So, I don't know if it is really aggression or just puppy playfulness. She does bite the air at times if I really get on to her, which i don't like! She's jumps up all the time, and I'm trying to train her from that. If she's alert and playful the kids can't hardly walk past her without her wanting jump up and grab their shirt or a hand! Any suggestions?
