I always thought my dog was a black lab, until today I found out that she not a full blood black lab. I was wondering if anyone could possibly help figure out what else she may have in her. She is about 3-4 years old. Here name is Holly and this is her image. One thing she loves to do is run and play fetch. Also I had another dog but she died 2 years ago at the age of 14 and I really never new what kind of dog she was, some said she was a shepard mix others said she was retriever mix.

I'm interested as to how you realized she is not purebred. Pictures can not reveal all characteristics but her legs and face appear to be a little 'stubbier' than a Lab, and I can't be sure from the picture but her coat looks a little thicker and longer than a Lab. I would guess she might have some Chow in her. But yes, fetching (retrieving) is what Labrador Retrievers love.

The other picture looks like a Golden Retriever mix to me. Fourteen years is a nice long life. You must have done something right.

Well just yesterday my sister boyfriend went and picked her up and said she wasnt full blood. I dont know the guy to be honest. He made the statement he has raised them. I honestly thought she was a lab though, because she is very playful and very hyper.
I do have have another dog who is about 12 years old she is part chow, she has her mothers snout.

Her mother is the part retriever mix. Ginger was my retriever mix I adopted her from the pound in nc.
